VOCAB QUIZZES:  All vocab quizzes will be conducted in this format:  Professor will say the words in Spanish, the students will write the words in Spanish and translate them into English.  Words will be repeated if necessary and correct spelling will count.

EXTRA CREDIT:  Will be available on the professor’s website after written exam #1.  It is available to all students and must be turned in no later than the class last of the semester

 

CLASS ASSIGNMENTS AND LAB ASSIGNMENTS ARE DUE ON THE DATE LISTED…IF YOU SUBMIT THEM AFTER THE LISTED DATE, BUT NO LATER THAN ONE WEEK AFTER THE DUE DATE, YOU CAN STILL RECEIVE ½ CREDIT.  IF YOU CANNOT BE IN CLASS ON THE DAY AN ASSIGNMENT, CLASS OR LAB, IS DUE, YOU CAN E-MAIL IT TO THE INSTRUCTOR.  STUDENTS WITH AN APPROVED MEDICAL EXCUSES (I.E. DR’S NOTE, ER ADMITTANCE FORM, ETC.)  WILL BE ALLOWED TO TURN IN LATE WORK PER THE INSTRUCTOR’S DEADLINE

 

VOCAB QUIZZES….THERE ARE NO MAKE UPS FOR VOCAB QUIZZES.  EXTRA CREDIT WILL BE AVAILABLE.

 

PARTICIPATION…STUDENTS RECEIVE 5 POINTS PER CLASS MEETING IF THEY ATTEND THE ENTIRE CLASS AND PARTICPATE.  MISSING CLASS WILL RESULT IN A LOSS OF THESE POINTS AND ONLY STUDENTS WITH AN APPROVED MEDICAL EXCUSES (I.E. DR’S NOTE, ER ADMITTANCE FORM, ETC.)  WILL BE COUNTED AS EXCUSED FROM THESE POINTS.

 

ORAL EVALUATIONS…BOTH THE MIDTERM AND FINAL ORAL EVALUATIONS HAVE THREE POSSIBLE DATES ON WHICH STUDENTS CAN TAKE THE EVALUATION.  STUDENT ARE ONLY TO SIGN UP FOR ONE DATE FOR EACH EVALUATION.  STUDENTS ARE NOT SO COME TO CLASS ON THE POSSIBLE DATES FOR THE ORAL EVUALATIONS, THEY ARE JUST TO ATTEND ON THE DATE THEY SIGNED UP FOR .
